Summary
Blueprint NC is a partnership of more than 40 state-level public policy, advocacy, and grassroots organizing groups dedicated to achieving a better, fairer, healthier North Carolina through the development of an integrated communications, civic engagement, and policy strategy. Blueprint NC serves as the point of contact for State Voices in North Carolina.
 
 
Key Services

1. Joint planning:  Blueprint facilitates joint planning for communications and civic engagement work, sharing information about upcoming special reports, events, civic engagement goals and priorities.
2. Capacity building: We build our partners’ capacity in communications and civic engagement through training, (VAN training, civic engagement planning assistance, Demos’ ‘talking about government’ training, George Lakoff’s seminar on communication) exposure to innovative tools, access to referral systems, and peer learning.  Blueprint engages the services of external technical expertise to stay on the cutting edge and take advantage of knowledge from across the US.
3. Fill gaps by building on existing strength:  Where possible, Blueprint works to support or fill gaps in the progressive infrastructure by adding resources to existing organizations, rather than creating new, separate entities.
