Summary
The Grassroots Institute of New Jersey is a collaborative that serves as the state table. It has the purpose of increasing civic participation among underrepresented constituencies and supporting long-term collaboration among organizations working for social change in New Jersey.

Key Services

• Building a network of organizations committed to working together to increase the representation of socially responsible and historically underrepresented groups;
• Providing a clearinghouse of voter engagement activities undertaken by participating organizations;
• Providing tools and support, including access to Catalist data and training programs, that allow organizations to lower their costs and increase overall effectiveness;
• Developing and promoting a shared policy agenda that advances social justice and economic fairness in New Jersey.
