Wisconsin Voices plays a unique role in the progressive movement by creating the structure to empower organizations in the c3 community through capacity building; ongoing year round civic engagement; convening and connecting; and long-term strategic planning for collective impact.

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and energized Digital Campaign Manager to join our team and support multiple robust pro-democracy campaigns. The ideal person should have a creative and curious approach to social media, and a background in managing social media accounts with a data driven approach. Candidates should have deep, proven roots in the social media sphere and understand how to disseminate content for maximum impact.

Primary Functions

The Digital Campaign Manager, ideally based in Milwaukee, reports to the Communications Director, is responsible for the following.

  • Expand the scope and scale of advanced digital engagement tactics to increase civic participation, including registering to vote, voting and filling out the census
  • Manage multiple data-capturing mechanisms into one streamlined content management system (EveryAction)
  • Manage and edit website, email program, and social media channels
  • Generate website and social media traffic through effective digital techniques while generating regular reports on engagement and growth activities in our online platforms and communities
  • Generate opportunities to identify and engage campaign supporters and drive measurable online actions through alerts, infographics, key messages, etc
  • Deepen supporters’ sense of identity and involvement with our work, including both online and offline engagement
  • Understand and apply data analytics to improve the effectiveness of the work
  • Develop content for appropriate digital channels and ads
  • Expand the scope and scale of advanced digital engagement tactics to increase civic participation, including registering to vote, voting and filling out the census


The ideal candidate will for this position will possess:

  • Experience working with online advertising: Facebook, Google Adwords, Twitter, DSPs, etc.
  • Design: Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva/etc.
  • Familiarity with coding: HTML and CSS; Javascript and/or jQuery are a plus
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple digital media accounts
  • Fluency in social media performance metrics and insights
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Comfort with Google Analytics and Facebook Ads
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage workflow both independently and collaboratively
  • Commitment to understanding race, class, gender, and other equity issues as a core of your work and the impact these have on our collective experience

Compensation: Salary range is $44,000 -$52,000, depending on experience.
