About Virginia Civic Engagement Table:

The Virginia Civic Engagement Table (VCET) works to nurture, sustain and strengthen progressive non-profit organizations, leaders and activists. VCET does this work by providing the coordination, tools and training needed to realize our shared vision, and help movements begin, grow and prosper. We believe our Commonwealth works best when every voice is heard. We work to expand our democracy to create systems that make it possible to hear those voices and to dismantle those that prevent them from being heard. Our partners work together to advance equality, justice, and opportunity, to win shared victories that expand democracy for historically disenfranchised Virginians and strive to engage underrepresented communities in the democratic process. The Virginia Civic Engagement Table is a member of State Voices, a network working year-round to create a more accessible, inclusive, and representative democracy.
