Early Vote Rallies are Coming to a City Near You

October 9, 2024

The State Voices Affiliated Network is mobilizing a historic early vote push across the country, bringing together thousands of voters and encouraging them to make a plan to vote and cast a ballot ahead of election day. We’re hosting nonpartisan early vote rallies and voting parties to help get out the vote early!

These early vote rallies, in partnership with When We All Vote, Civic Nation, Movement Voter Project, and Early Vote Day Coalition, will consist of concerts, festivals, block parties, and other events to provide communities with joyous opportunities for civic engagement and aim to become the biggest early vote push in history.

There are currently 27 events scheduled and counting, including in states Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin!

Are you in a state without a rally, or otherwise can’t attend? Text VOTE to 32868 to get voting support from State Voices, including checking your registration and making a plan to vote!

The early vote rallies are the next step of the Vote for Something campaign, organized by State Voices, one of the largest nationwide civic engagement infrastructure organizations representing 24 state affiliates and over 1,200 state and local organizations. Through Vote for Something, State Voices has pledged $3 million to the campaign and has already collected over 800,000 voter registrations. We intend to millions voter contacts before November in collaboration with their State Tables and national partners. But we can’t do it without you and our communities showing up for what they believe. Together, we can set an early vote record that will be written in the history books.

“This year’s election is undoubtedly the most consequential election of our lifetimes, and there is too much on the line to sit it out,” said Alexis Anderson-Reed, Chief Executive Officer of State Voices.

“It’s no secret that BIPOC communities have been on the receiving end of vicious attacks on their rights, and senseless attempts to suppress their vote. Coupled with an overwhelmingly contentious political climate, voters need new, positive ways to participate in the election. These early vote rallies are a chance for communities to come together and celebrate the act of voting. We need everyone to come into November prepared with a plan to make their voice heard on the issues that matter most to them, and State Voices is proud to be helping.”
