Vicky Hsu is State Voices’ Director of Finance. She is responsible for managing the financial operations and compliance for the organization.
Vicky has over 10 years of professional experience in non-profit accounting and audit. She served as Controller at Unity Health Care, where she oversaw the accounting, accounting operations, grant accounting, and procurement. She was responsible for financial planning and analysis and played a significant role in system implementations at American Psychological Association and American Academy of Physician Assistants. Prior to joining the industry, Vicky managed audit engagements at Cohen, Rutherford + Knight, PC, a regional CPA firm that specialized in healthcare and nonprofit organizations.
Vicky has a diverse background in data and financial analysis and project management. Prior to her audit career at Cohen Rutherford + Knight, she performed cost-benefit analysis, feasibility studies, impact analysis, performance measures and best practice studies for several public policy research projects. Vicky also served as a financial analyst and was responsible for preparing financial and market analysis for commercial loan application.
Vicky holds a M.S. in finance from George Washington University, a M.A. in economics from George Mason University, and a B.A. in Public Finance with a minor in International Trade from Taiwan-based National Chengchi University. She is an active Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Maryland.
